Plant Analyst

This position is responsible for providing site management with financial data utilized to measure performance for the Belle Mead Plant, which produces Lysol and Air Wick products. This is accomplished through the keeping of accurate records, analysis of data and preparation of financialreports. This person will play a crucial role within the site's Finance team by maintaining financialcontrols as well as ensuring adherence to corporate accounting policies & procedures.   Responsibilities  Reporting to the Plant Controller, the Financial Plant Analyst will be responsible for:   Monthly Reporting  Assist site Finance team in the month end process, ensuring completeness and accuracy of account balances  Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and quarterly balance sheet flux analysis   Timely completion of Supply reporting, including proper analysis of all Supply variances:   Industrial P&L and Factory Operating Statement  Supply Scorecard  Headcount Reporting  Fixed cost management; including recommendations for possible opportunities for cost savings    Work with PPV Controller and Procurement team to understand and adequately communicate drivers for purchase price variances    Work with factory management team to implement best practices and controls to achieve factory objectives, including challenging when necessary: Cost variances (material and conversion) Efficiencies (labor and waste)   Assist site Finance team with annual business planning and quarterly forecast, providing timely and meaningful standards and analysis regarding status vs. plan and PY Timely and accurate establishment of standards; ensure they are reflected in JDE Provide analysis of movement in cost elements for management and brand teams Prepare ad-hocreporting schedules in Excel   CostAccounting:  New Product Development / Existing Product Development  Prepare high level cost estimates at start of project including documentation and assumptions  Calculate and inform responsible people for changes of prices and assumptions  Develop transfer prices and provide timely updates of changes to inter-company and intra-company  Follow-up of variances, details requested for sourcing changes and other benchmarks  Regular comparison of actual cost prices with standards, including communication of variances   Qualifications   Must have BS degree in Accounting or Finance   MBA/CPApreferred.   5 years' experience in financial management   Demonstrated knowledge of cost accounting   Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work in a team environment   Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret and present data to plant management team and other stakeholders.   Experience using JDE software or a similar database.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
