IT Recruiter and Resource Manager

Job Description

OwlPoint is a growing IT Management Consulting firm who is looking for a key individual to join our team. This person will be responsible for leading recruiting and consulting resource management. As part of his/her responsibilities this person will help identify skilled consultants and contractors to work on our client-related projects and help grow and oversee our consulting organization. This is a work from home position with occasional meetings in Hillsborough, NJ.

Typical Responsibilities include:

  • Source and recruit top talent to build out our consulting practices or staff client-facing projects.

  • Build a queue of candidates qualified to work on OwlPoint projects

  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience for every candidate from first contact, interviews and placement throughout the client engagement.

  • Negotiate pay rates and facilitate hiring process.

  • Communicate effectively and work with internal teams to coordinate staffing requirements, status, and placements.

  • Provide leadership to identify methods of improving recruiting processes and enhancing OwlPoint's capabilities

  • Oversee On-boarding and Off-boarding activities

  • Participate in HR activities as required

Requirements include:

  • Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience, primarily in an IT staffing or consulting environment.

  • Experience sourcing business and IT contract resources.

  • Experience closing junior to senior level candidates in Information Technology with a focus on IT Service Management/ITIL, Project Management, IT Governance, Process Improvements, and IT Operations.

  • Ability to multi-task and manage several different open staffing requirements simultaneously

  • Experience writing job ads based on team members input and guidance

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, professional relationships. A true caring professional at heart.

  • Extraordinary phone skills, communication skills and writing skills

  • Experience using job sites, posting on social media sites, and a general understanding of marketing concepts related to reruiting.

  • Exceptional interview skills and ability to assess and judge talent in others

  • Experience with on-boarding and off-boarding and managing HR information.

  • Being well organized and a sense of accountability

  • Knowledge of fair employment practices, anti-discrimination laws, and hiring best practices

  • A general love of working with people, team building, and recruiting

This position is a base salary plus commision role. Includes benefits such as Medical, Dental, and Vision

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
